Ship Engine Simulator
Teknomatrik is Rheinmetall’s local partner for maritime simulation and military training systems. We installed, trained and maintained the Ship Engine Simulator, Safety and Security Trainer and Marine Engineering CBT systems. The systems were integrated into the Engineering Faculty at KD PELANDOK in Lumut. Teknomatrik provided comprehensive training to faculty members and personnel to operate these advanced training tools. We offer maintenance and support services for these systems. The project has solidified Teknomatrik’s position as a trusted partner committed to advancing marine engineering education and training.
Bridge Shiphandling Simulator
In 2016, Teknomatrik was privileged to be granted the admired responsibility, in collaboration with our strategic partner, to undertake an extensive three-year maintenance project for the Bridge Shiphandling Simulator at the Royal Malaysian Navy Base in Lumut. This remarkable opportunity showcased our expertise and solidified our position as a trusted provider of high-quality services in the maritime industry.
Due to our exceptional performance and unwavering commitment to excellence, Teknomatrik was once again granted the privilege of a three-year contract renewal in 2020, reaffirming our position as the preferred choice for the maintenance of the Bridge Shiphandling Simulator system.
The Bridge Shiphandling Simulator, positioned at the prestigious KD Pelandok in Lumut, is a testament to cutting-edge technology and innovation. This state-of-the-art simulator system has various advanced features that facilitate immersive training experiences for naval personnel.
At the heart of this simulator system lies the main bridge, which boasts an impressive 270-degree visual projection system. This immersive technology allows trainees to replicate real-life scenarios and navigate through various challenging environments with utmost precision. The seamless integration of a secondary bridge, equipped with a 150-degree visual projection system, further enhances the training capabilities of the simulator system.
Furthermore, the Bridge Shiphandling Simulator is thoughtfully designed to cater to the specific needs of blind pilotage training. It incorporates four specialised bridges meticulously crafted to simulate challenging conditions where visual cues are limited or unavailable. These bridges provide a unique training environment for naval personnel to hone their skills and develop the expertise to navigate safely and effectively in adverse conditions.
Our team at Teknomatrik is fully dedicated to maintaining the Bridge Shiphandling Simulator system at its optimal performance level. With our extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of the simulator system’s intricacies, we are committed to ensuring that it remains in peak condition, providing invaluable training opportunities for naval personnel in Lumut.
Teknomatrik is honoured to have been entrusted with maintaining the Bridge Shiphandling Simulator system at the Royal Malaysian Navy base in Lumut. Our exceptional performance throughout the initial three-year maintenance project led to the renewal of our contract, solidifying our position as a trusted partner in the maritime industry. We take great pride in the advanced features and immersive training experiences offered by the Bridge Shiphandling Simulator and we remain committed to upholding its excellence through our dedicated maintenance services.
